Egmont Machado Krischke Theological Seminary is the direct heir to the theological tradition of the Church, tracing its roots to the year 1903. Throughout history it has received several names and occupied several locations. Based on the Liberal Catholic tradition of Anglicanism, it offers courses – both there and distant-based – on the following areas: Bachelor’s Degree in Theology Immersion in Anglicanism (for those who have a non-Anglican theological formation) and Deepening in Theological Studies (in Patristics or Anglican Theology). Its current dean is the Rt. Rev. Luiz Osório Pires Prado, and the Academic Coordinator is the Prof. Dr. Vera Lucia Simões de Oliveira.
